PH SERIES

For loading and unloading steel plates, slabs and billets of all sizes, Walker Hagou Magnetics offers you custom made lifting magnet systems that can lift weights up to 100,000 kg without a hitch.
A major advantage of these custom made material handling solutions is that your internal logistical processes can be considerably automated, with no manual intervention. Thanks to the advantages of the electro magnetic principle, the systems can be controlled remotely, so that the operator can see everything at once and can determine pricisely how many steel plates he wishes to load or unload.
The Walker lifting magnets can be supplied for the handling of both single and multiple plates.

Depending on your requirements, we supply these systems as a single unit or a multiple one installed on a spreader beam, including traverse, power source, control units, radiographic remote control and emergency power facility.

Over the last few decades Walker has delivered thousands of plate handling systems worldwide for such facilities as ship's wharves, blast furnaces, steel distribution companies and steel processing companies.
