The electro magnet is characterised
by a tremendous magnetic force by which loads up to 100 tonnes
can be lifted without problems.
This type of magnet can create a very deep magnetic field,
it is less sensitive to air gaps and irregularities. The magnetic
force can be regulated, by means of a 'tip off' or by a variable
control function the desired number of plates can be lifted
from a stack. The magnetic force is then briefly reduced until
the required number of plates remains suspended, after which
it returns to its full capacity.
Thanks to PLC control the electro magnet is eminently suited
for use in fully automated production processes. In addition
you can have such systems executed in all conceivable shapes
and sizes.
