How clamping for grinding works

How it works:

The electropermanent magnetic system presents the best ratio

The permanent magnet (C) is not active.
The magnetic chuck is not active either.

The electric curent passage during a few milliseconds into the coil (D) turns on the clamping system.
An inverse electric current passage turns off the system.

performance / security / power consumption.
This kind of chuck needs power only to energize and de-energize the system (a few milliseconds).

Once energized, the chuck clamps the workpiece strongly to the machine in total security, without being affected by a power failure.

Particular attention has been devoted to the perfect demagnetization of the workpiece. This magnetic system is called "with total demagnetization", eliminates all risk of residual magnetism.

    PRECISION
    • No vibration
    • No temperature rise

    SECURITY
    • Holding power unaffected
      by a main power failure
    • Stability of the system
